In 1999, the Departmental Federation of Hunters of the Yonne bought a group of plots of land located in a former wetland, in the municipalities of Druyes-les-Belles-Fontaines and Andryes. This 63-hectare site, which had been severely degraded (river recalibration, poplar plantations, drying out), underwent extensive renaturation work. Since then, it has become home to a great deal of biodiversity, with the presence of species that are unique in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
